An enterprise perspective is emphasized for identifying information technology needs and solutions. This course includes best practices for technology evaluation, vendor analysis, and system selection/implementation decisions. Comprehensive systems including enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing resource planning (MRP), supply chain management (SCM) and customer relationship management (CRM) are addressed. This course can be taken as a stand alone overview.
Note: Required for Strategic IT for Business certificate. Elective for Business Management, Finance, and Project Management certificates. Recommended for students planning to take the CMA, CPA and CIA exams. If English is the student’s second language, evidence of minimum TOEFL English proficiency score of 550 is required.
